Blogging tips on how to select a Niche?

Certainly, this is a common question which arises in your mind when you think of blogging. Let me tell you this is not much harder than you think. Just simply sit down take a pen and a paper and start writing the topics in which you are interested in.

Let’s say for an example you made a list of skin care, cooking, books and music. Now start with first one that is skin care and write all the possible keywords that you can write about skin care, repeat this with remaining.

Now just understand yourself that on which topic you are able to write more content? In this way you need to select. You should definitely consider topic which you are passionate about. You need to have passion to write about it.

In addition my tip for you is don’t always look for high commission products and services to promote in your blog. The first reason is there is already huge competetion for it and you cannot rank for it easily.

The second reason is if you not passionate about the product but still writing blogs on it for high commission, at some point of time you lose interest on blogging, it will be stressful for you to write.

Single niche or multiple niche for blogging?

Basically if you want to get ranked in google fastly and start earning money quickly single niche is better. Because there are already many blog posts on the internet it is very difficult to rank. But if you are focusing on single niche google AI will understand that you are specialised in so and so topic.

So whenever any one searches for so and so topic your website will be given more priority to rank higher. The another benefit is you can create email list by asking your visitors to subscribe and send emails to them whenever you post new article consequently you get free recurring traffic everytime.

You can do affiiate sales by sending emails to your subscribers. They stay connected with you all the time. In my personal opinion people mostly subscribe you when you share knowledge on single topic. They just want emails about only single topic.

Multiple niche blogging benefits

Yes there are also some benefits of multiple niche, besides bloggers out there do not suggest you to take multiple niche. If you don’t like to write about single topic everytime and also don’t have much knowledge on just one single topic, but have enough knowledge on multiple topics, but still want to go with blogging.

For these category people you can go with multiple niche. But how to start it?

Start your own website with your name or just choose a common domain name which suits for multiple niches. Convey your website visitors about you and tell them that you will write blogs about what you have experienced, learned etc. Now how this works out?

In this way you can write about anything useful. Share your knowledge & guide people. If you are using anything which is worthy you can recommend it for your visitiors and get affiliate commission by promoting.

Will you be out of content? No you will always have something or the other to share with your visitors (only useful content) Can i retain old visitors? Yes because people are interested to know about other people life.

You can ask your visitors to subscribe to your website saying that if they want to know more about what you share. Generally people either follow you for your single topic content or if they want to know about you and your lifestyle.

Yes ranking on first page is hard but once you are popular you can still get all the benefits. But it still better than struggling for single topic content ideas which may loose interest in long term. How can you earn? By Affiliate marketing or through adsense.

Don’t forget that you are providing information to readers but not showcasing your english writing skills. Everyone definitely loves to read a simple english language or any other language.

However now-a-days most of the people prefer watching videos rather than reading articles. Keep this in mind and write the blog in such a way that people must enjoy it.

While explaining something explain it like your friend explains you. Ask questions yourself and mention the answer below it. Trust me this will drive the users attention.

Step-3 Use more headings and subheadings

Have you ever seen a very long blog without any head or tail? it looks disgusting right? No one wants to read the whole blog completely. Thats why segregate the topic under headings and subheadings.

So whenever someone visits your blog they can quickly find out what they want to read. Do you know most of them including me scroll down and read the subheading before reading the blog.

This is the reason why headings and subheadings are important. They make readers life easy!
